Help Restaurants

Join TorEats in helping the Toronto restaurant industry during the coronavirus pandemic. Now more than ever, we need to come together to uplift the industry, and demonstrate support for the establishments we love. Restaurants are not only a place to eat, but a place to come together and enjoy moments (big or small) together. Food service workers are facing an unprecedented battle, with layoffs, cut hours and indefinite closures. Here are some ways to show your support to the people, the industry, and the community as a whole.

Support restaurants directly by purchasing gift cards to use in the future.

Many establishments that cannot provide service right now are offering gift cards for you to use when they reopen (some at a discounted rate). Some places include:

Support can mean so many things. Show love to your favourite restaurant by commenting on their Instagram posts, share posts you like of theirs to your story, or write a positive review on platforms like Google, Yelp or Tripadvisor.
