This funky barbecue joint on Ossington focuses on local ingredients and cooking techniques, creating dishes that put a twist on traditional Thai flavours. Noodles and curries are served loaded with veggies and your choice of protein, while the more “barbecue” style dishes include curry chicken wings and Phuket-style braised black pepper pork. Known as one of Toronto’s most authentic Thai restaurants, this spot was named after the famous street in Bangkok, the city that their chef grew up in. The restaurateur behind two of Toronto’s most popular Italian spots switched gears to open this bustling restaurant, located in the heart of the Entertainment District and serving up some of the city’s best Northern Thai eats. Chefs Nuit and Jeff Regular created a menu that showcases all the sweet, sour and spicy flavours of classic dishes but with a twist, like Tom Yum soup, green papaya salad, flavourful Thai chicken wings and of course, pad thai.
